Day 345 – 10/16/11 – Water Picks

The first port we stopped at was Portland, Maine.  The waters surrounding our ship in port were quite interesting, and yielded a number of photographic opportunities.  My favorite is this cluster of pier pylons, left in place although the pier which rested on them was long gone.

A cluster of posts from a long missing pier.

In addition, there were a number of small sailboats stored in the harbor in a variety of interesting ways.
