One of my goals with Photos to 40 is to learn through the process of using my camera each day. Today, I learned that peaches are the pits to photograph.
Believe it or not, even with their infamous fuzz there’s little texture on the outside of a peach to pick up with a macro lens. There’s even less texture on the inside. There is the pit, of course, but let’s just say that experiments with that came out looking like the images from a brain surgery gone horribly, horribly wrong.
Some times when I set out without a previsualized image just playing around yields great results. Other times, not so much.
I came up with another image that I do like, though I can’t exactly express why. It doesn’t fit into the fruit series so much, though were I to revisit colors it would fit well there.
