Day 208 – 06/01/11 – Oven Side

Where yesterday’s image showed us life from the perspective of the refrigerator bulb, today’s looks through the eyes of the oven rack.  You know, if oven racks had eyes.

Not sure what I’m going to call this theme yet, perhaps Inside, or Inside Out, or Perspectives.  We’ll see.

Regardless of it’s name, this is the image in the theme that I was most worried about from a lighting perspective.  Turns out I needn’t have been concerned, available light worked rather well.

  1. I am enjoying your “side” theme. So who’s turn is it tomorrow?
    Perhaps time for a self-portrait 😉

    • Jim Reed says:

Thanks Sasi! I’ve got an idea for tomorrow’s shot, plus one or two more after that. Likely not a self portrait any time soon though, I do better on the viewfinder side of the camera 🙂

  2. I am also enjoying this theme, looking forward to what’s around the corner. Perspective from the dryer? Floor vents? The loo (ewww, no moon shots eh…come on, had to have been said)! 😛 Ohhh, from the mail box.

    • Jim Reed says:

Believe it or not the mailbox is where I conceived of the theme. A mailbox shot is definitely on the list, likely today. I hadn’t thought of the others though (ok, I thought of the loo ;)). I really like the dryer idea, going to have to borrow that one!

Great theme. The perspective is very cool. The light is perfect. Looking forward to your other ideas…..
