Day 127 – 03/12/11 – The Wall

The little one’s Daisy Scout troop had a family outing at the skating rink this afternoon, and we all got to go.  We don’t get to skate all that much, so it took us awhile to get our ice legs back under us.

We had a great time, and I even managed to do several laps with the camera without falling and breaking it into a thousand pieces.  Yay for small victories!

Here’s the big one, taking her turn holding up the ice rink wall.

Apparently that wall is heavier than it looks.  It takes a whole lot of girls to hold the dang thing up.

I know what you did and what that means… We had a family outing with the swimming club in December 10 and my wife broke her wrist because an unknown little one, which was able to skate, crashed into her…..bad luck….

    I like the second photo…..

Thanks Schleefy! Sorry to hear about your wife’s wrist. Luckily there were no serious injuries this time, just a few sore bums and some wounded pride 😉

Ahhhh…I have a photo of my little one doing very much the same thing when we were in Gatlinburg. Hope y’all had a good time!

  3. I love skating (being Canadian and all), looks like the boards had plenty of help being held up! Hope you all had a great time. 😀

  4. Hahaha! I love this. Great story telling 🙂 Looks like fun!!!!
