Day 39 – 12/14/10 – Crystalline

The snowstorm continues, and the girls are off school again.  What with the wife still being down from surgery, that means I’m working from home.  The upside is I finally had an opportunity to play outside with the girls, which we’ve been waiting for for some time now.

The image of the day is the crystal ice structures that formed on the garage window.

They are really interesting if you look at them up close as well.

There’s some shots of the girls playing outside up on Flickr as well, but I can’t resist putting one here.  The girls love to play King(Queen) of the Hill on the snowplow mound, especially because they get to team up and push Daddy off the hill.  Here they are gloating after one such victory.

Ok, these are making me sort of anxious to get back to Michigan after Christmas for some fun in the snow. It’s just not Christmas without it!
